how much is a custom graphic design?
Like anything custom - it depends on the complexity of your project along with other factors. At the beginning of your project we’ll ask you if there’s a budget you have, and we do everything we can to make it work. After getting the details we need from you, we’ll share a rough cost estimate with you and make sure it’s in line with your goals. Deposits begin at $100 for simple design work.
what’s the turnaround time for custom graphic design?
Turnaround time can vary depending on the complexity of your project and the current workload of our art department. Since we take extreme care with creating your custom design, it’s incredibly helpful to start the process early if there’s a deadline you have in mind, BUT we will always do our best if you’ve got a design emergency and need something YESTERDAY! But each project is treated on a case by case basis.
i just need a design made for a run of shirts, can you help me with that?
Absolutely! A huge advantage of working with DLH for a screen printed or embroidered design is that we know how to design for these mediums, whereas other designers may not know the best ways to design for production.
When you work with us for your apparel design ideas, we’ll know the most cost effective & preferred ways to digitally design art so that your apparel gets the ideal artwork applied.
What is the custom design process like?
We’ve designed the process to make things as easy as possible for you! We’ll start by gathering details from you with our Creative Design Survey, where you can list your inspiration, any notes we need to know, along with your budget & more.
Then, our art department will reach out to you with further questions & ideas if needed, OR we’ll be able to connect with you and present you with an estimate if the project is straightforward and we’ve got no questions.
If we’re on the same page with you & the estimate falls within your budget, then you’ll give us the green light & it’s off to the design room! We’ll send you a deposit payment request to get things locked in. After that, depending on the scope of your project, we’ll either connect with you further to get your opinion on details, or we’ll let you know when the concepts are ready for presentation.
After you jump for joy & tell us you’re in love, we’ll request the remaining balance for your design & once paid, either send you the files needed or begin the production process if we’re handling that for you too!
Do you take on every design request?
We do not — whether or not we take on design projects depends on a few factors, including your price range, your deadline, and more. But after a conversation with you, we’ll be able to let you know!
